Sellsword Arts
Sellsword Arts is many things, but at its most basic it is a celebration of swordsmanship. Whether that be fencing, choreography, history, or pop culture, they are all about the blade.
David is the Founder and Director of Sellsword Arts.
He has fenced for over 20 years, performed stage combat for over a decade, teaches workshops around the world in both Stage Combat and Historical European Martial Arts.
Clark is an accomplished fencer of almost 15 years and takes his job of Pop-Culture expert very seriously and spends hours per week researching by watching Anime and playing Video Games that David does not have time for. He knows… It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it.
With a background in Production Management, degree in Technical Theatre, and years of experience in Directing conventions and renaissance faires… Megan MIGHT be a bit overqualified for her position as Manager of Sellsword Arts. Luckily for them… She really enjoys wrangling these silly boys.
Jacques Ze Whipper
Jack Lepiarz grew up traveling the world with the circus and somehow also getting a completely normal education in the suburbs of New York. After 13 years working a real job at NPR, he ran back away with the circus in early 2023 and now spends his time as a full-time comedian/circus performer working at theaters, comedy clubs, and Renaissance Festivals around the country. In his off-time, he lives in the Boston area with his wife and cat.
Blumineck
Known as “the Arrow Bard”, “the Fantasy Archery Guy” and “that pole dancing Elf”, Blumineck is an experienced archer, pole dancer, and nerd. In addition to making videos about fantasy combat, he also teaches workshops and performs at events. One time he sat still for 5 whole minutes…
Instructor Bensei
With equal enthusiasm for both teaching and learning, Benjamin Kennedy (Bensei, if yah nasty) is a martial artist of 25+ years with a black belt in Danzan-Ryū Jujitsu and a black sash in Hsing-I Chuan Kung Fu.
When Ben's not teaching or recording in his family dojo at Team Torque in Wilmington, Ohio, he's probably teaching Violence de-escalation and prevention WITH his family as part of Kennedy Consulting & Training.
